ABOUT THE WORK

My work investigates the notion of how to pay attention to the minute details in our immediate surrounding, how to connect those minutia in the much larger environment we are inherently a part of, and what our function and responsibility are when we are placed within that spectrum. The works adopt a 'nesting' process, in search for the meaning of 'home'.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Duy Hoàng is an interdisciplinary artist born in 1989 in Vietnam. He received an MFA from Columbia University in 2017 and is currently residing in New York City.
